June Days: They're Back!!!!

June Days in Yorkton City Centre Park started as an idea to get more people downtown and into the Park for some family friendly, wholesome, engaging fun.

Various community groups within our city were engaged to share their culture, art, music, stories and their food with ALL of Yorkton. Man, did they step up! The weekly events started drawing bigger and bigger crowds and EVERYONE that attended had lots of fun!

Yorkton Business Improvement District is proud to re-do the event again this year, in conjunction with our supporting sponsors, partners and some truly amazing Yorkton Community groups!

Volunteer! Have some fun! Make new friends!

We are also putting a call out for supportive volunteers & business social groups, that are:

  • Willing to assist with set up on event day, handing out coupons, sponsoring kids face painting & tatoo’s, attending to a game station, then helping with tear-down and light clean up of the park at the end of the day.
  • Each June Days event set up starts at 3:30pm. Each event starts at 4:30pm and runs to 8:00 pm – and the volunteer day is complete at ~8:30pm.
  • Businesses or business social committees that wish to sponsor or participate are welcome!

YBID Thanks our Yorkton YBID June Days Sponsors & Partners

It takes a fantastic and engaged community to put on a month long schedule of Community Participation Events.

YBID's mandate is to encourage and facilitate attracting Yorkton into the YDID Business District, making it an attractive, vibrant and vital community destination for Yorkton consumers and residents to come to.

Bringing our many varied communities that call Yorkton "Home" to City Centre Park fulfills that mandate, and also provides a forum for Yorkton's diverse communities to gather, learn, celebrate the culture and richness that they all bring to Yorkton!

The YBID June Days is coordinated by the YBID, but EACH June Days Evening is hosted by the evenings representative communities. A Community and Cultural participatory event such as each YBID June Days evening would NOT BE POSSIBLE without the support of the following valued Partner Event Sponsors.

Thank you one and all! Enjoy your June Days Evenings! Have Fun Yorkton!
