YORKTON CITY CHRISTMAS TREE
The goal of the Christmas Tree project was to provide the City of Yorkton Business Improvement District with an additional asset essential for the Celebration of the Christmas Season. All cities have a seasonal Christmas tree and there were requests by YBID membership for something to be placed in the City Centre Park (Western Financial Park) located in the heart of the Downtown Business Area.
The tree was purchased by YBID in 2014 and donated to the City of Yorkton who in turn stores, maintains and installs the Christmas Tree each year.
This sectional, LED lit artifical Christmas Tree, offers a familiar seasonal flare for all in the city to enjoy, and has actually become a center piece of the City Centre Park (Western Financial Park) during the Christmas season.
This project is another example of the YBID and the City of Yorkton working together for the enduring benefit of our entire Yorkton community during the cold Christmas season and the Yorkton Business Improvement District.
